“Amy has been such a gift! She really takes the time to listen and understand where you’re at in life. I felt like she truly got me and what it was like to balance work, kids and my own health. Instead of giving me a one-size-fits-all plan, she helped me figure out changes that actually made sense for my life and felt doable. She’s so supportive and made everything feel approachable, not overwhelming. I never felt judged, just encouraged to take steps that worked for me. ”

About Amy Knox

Hello! I'm Amy, a clinical integrative nutritionist based in southern Illinois. I am deeply passionate about how nutrition and our relationship with food impact both mental and physical health. I love working one-on-one with individuals, helping them explore their unique nutrition needs and fostering a healthier, more positive relationship with food. I hold a degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a master's in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health. While living in Washington DC, I balanced my time between working with a seed-to-table program in DC public schools and an integrative healthcare practice in Bethesda, Maryland. After relocating to the Midwest, I spent a full season as an organic farm apprentice, which deepened my appreciation for sustainable agriculture. I love to share my passion for growing organic food with friends, neighbors and clients. In addition to clinical work, I serve as the community garden manager at Empowered Spaces in St. Louis, Missouri, where we offer a collaborative food share program with Jamaa Birth Village. I currently live just outside St. Louis, Missouri with my husband and 5 year old daughter. After starting a family here, the Midwest has become home to me.
