“Amy is wonderful! Our initial session went so well and she took time to listen to every detail. Amy let me speak and I felt heard. Before our session, I was feeling lost and discouraged. However, after our session, I have a good plan and I know I can stick to it for a positive health outcome. Amy is encouraging and I am looking forward to our following sessions. I would highly recommend Amy and I am so thankful I have found her!”

About Amy Margulies

As a longtime promoter of healthy cooking and eating, Amy's focus is on plant-based eating, with a rebellious twist - that she and no one, needs to be perfect. She also has expertise in weight management, healthy aging, diabetes, and general nutrition. Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Dietetics, became a Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN), Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES), National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), and has been practicing in the fields of weight management and diabetes for nearly 30 years. Amy’s mission is to share her nutrition expertise in the form of recipes, tips, consultations, and blogs to promote health and wellness in a relatable fashion. Most recently, Amy added Holistic Cannabis Practitioner to her qualifications. Amy will discuss the appropriateness of cannabis use for various nutrition and medical concerns, including pain, anxiety, insomnia, autoimmune disorders, cancer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and more. Amy’s skills include providing guidance on modes of consumption, dosage, and safety, in partnership with your prescribing physician. Amy uses her skills of mindfulness, curiosity, and empathy to build trust and rapport with her clients and aims to share her uncomplicated style of cooking and living healthfully to support others in health…but always with a healthy dose of rebellion.

Amy is the best! She provides great guidance throughout your journey and is an incredible support system. Under her care, I have never felt more motivated and confident in my ability to improve my overall health through my diet/exercise. I highly recommend scheduling with Amy if you are looking for a nutritionist that will support you in your goals!
Amy is truly amazing. She offers incredible tools, utilizes mindfulness, and shares delicious healthy recipes. Amy is very thorough in her explanations and always addresses my questions. With Amy's support, I successfully lost over 25 pounds and now feel like the best version of myself!
I cannot recommend Amy Margulies highly enough. As a registered dietitian, she provides excellent nutritional counseling & health coaching. I initially met with Amy to help improve my eating habits and learn how to make better lifestyle choices for my body. From our very first consultation, I was impressed with Amy's wealth of knowledge, compassion, and commitment to helping me succeed. She took the time to thoroughly understand my health history, lifestyle, nutritional needs, and goals. Amy developed a customized nutrition plan that fit my preferences and schedule perfectly. Amy has been supportive and encouraging, providing practical tips and advice that have made improving my diet much easier. With Amy's expert guidance, I have made positive lifestyle changes and improved my health in several measurable ways. I feel better than I have in years. Amy goes beyond just providing nutritional advice - she is a true partner and advocate for my overall health and wellness.
Amy is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable. She made things easy for me by personalizing meal plans, keeping things simple and really listening to what would work for me. She can provide concrete suggestions when you need them down to specific products or foods that might work for you. She is very supportive and helped me to find a way to be successful despite personal challenges and obstacles. She always has new suggestions and ways of thinking about things that will help you get past plateaus.
Amy has been a huge blessing to me. After experiencing a heart attack last year, I was lost. After a night in the hospital the cardiologist who performed my procedure basically told me to take my meds. Never any guidance on what I should eat. I have also seen an endocrinologist for my diabetes with no nutritional guidance. Between primary care, endocrinology, cardiology, diabetes educator, I came up with an amount of fat that was too much for me, take my meds, and look for "sugar free" products, then I met with Amy. She has given me recipes, tips, nutritional amounts for meals, meal planning, etc. She has changed my thought process on life. I am forever indebted to her.
