She is was very thorough and kind. She took her time explaining to me what I could do to help the concerns I went to see her for. I wish all doctors were like her. Thank you.

Amy Mehta, MD is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in the latest breakthroughs in glaucoma management and surgical techniques. Dr. Mehta is an Honors graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, where she earned her undergraduate degree. Dr. Mehta earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed her ophthalmology training at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident.
After finishing her residency training in ophthalmology, Dr. Mehta went on to complete her Glaucoma Fellowship at the prestigious Illinois Eye & Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois in Chicago, where she earned the coveted ‘Fellow of the Year’ award. Dr. Mehta is active in glaucoma research and has co-authored numerous articles in national and international medical journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Mehta is fluent in Spanish and enjoys running in her spare time, including finishing numerous NYC Marathons.

The office stuff is friendly, polite and very helpful. I was not able to read and fill in, so they landed me hand on that, then the appointment went perfectly on time, Doctor was able to identify the issue and to help me right away. I walked out a happy person and within a couple of hours my vision in my right eye improved and they followed up promptly with prescriptions and after care suggestions. Such a great visit! I wish more people could benefit from this location services.
