About Amy Swichtenberg
Amy Swichtenberg is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and co-owner of VIP Wellness Group. Her passion for healthcare began early through personal family caregiving experiences that taught her the importance of presence, compassion, dignity, and honoring each person’s story. Those experiences shaped her belief that healthcare should be meaningful, relationship-based, and rooted in trust.
Amy became a registered nurse in 1999 and has cared for patients across telemetry, surgery, cardiology, hospice, and in-home primary care for older adults. She became a nurse practitioner in 2006 and later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University in 2026. Her diverse clinical background gives her a strong foundation in complex care, chronic disease management, aging, prevention, and patient-centered wellness.
Amy’s passion for hormone and wellness care became deeply personal through her own experience with perimenopause. After years of night sweats, anxiety, exhaustion, and feeling unlike herself, she was told her symptoms were “just stress.” Her search for answers led her to hormone-focused care and gave her a deeper understanding of how often patients, especially women, are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left to suffer in silence.
At VIP Wellness Group, Amy is dedicated to helping patients feel seen, heard, and supported. She combines clinical experience with compassion, education, and practical treatment planning to help patients better understand their bodies and make informed decisions about their health. Her care style is warm, honest, and collaborative, with a focus on improving energy, sleep, mood, hormone balance, confidence, and long-term quality of life.
Amy’s mission is to help patients feel like themselves again through thoughtful, evidence-based care that honors the whole person, not just a diagnosis.
