Getting to know Amyrica Centeno

I combine medication management with lifestyle-focused intervention- such as sleep optimization, movement and nutrition- to support my patients in achieving sustainable, whole-person mental wellness. I welcome busy professionals, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking a more personalized, concierge-level approach to care. Together we will clarify our goals, review treatment options and design a plan that fits your lifestyle, values and schedule.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you book with me, you’re reserving dedicated on understanding your story, your lifestyle, and your goals—not just your symptoms. Initial visits typically include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, review of your medical and medication history, and exploration of sleep, movement, nutrition, and stress so we can design a plan that actually fits your life. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative; I explain options clearly, invite questions, and make sure you understand the reasoning behind any recommendations we make together. My practice is strictly private pay and concierge only. I do not bill insurance or work directly with insurance companies, and payment is due at the time of service. Upon request, I can provide an itemized receipt you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your benefits. Before your first appointment, you’ll receive electronic intake forms and reminders—completing these ahead of time allows us to spend the visit focused on you, not paperwork. I also have a firm late-cancellation and no-show policy, as I reserve this time specifically for you; honoring this policy helps me maintain same-week availability and a high-touch, personalized experience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When we begin working together, you can expect a highly personalized experience designed around you. Our first meeting is a high-touch psychiatric consultation where I take time to understand your story, your lifestyle, and your goals in depth—not just your diagnosis. I provide clear, expert guidance and curate a tailored plan that may include medication, targeted lifestyle shifts, and trusted therapy or wellness referrals. You will always know the “why” behind each recommendation, and we move forward only when the plan feels aligned with your values, schedule, and preferences. Ongoing visits are intentionally limited and focused, allowing us to refine your regimen, optimize your functioning, and anticipate challenges before they become setbacks. I pay close attention to your energy, mood, clarity, performance, and overall quality of life so that our work supports not just stability, but your highest level of functioning. Because this is a strictly private-pay, concierge practice, I maintain a small, select caseload to ensure a consistently elevated level of access and attention. This allows for more thoughtful follow-up, deeper relationships, and a level of discretion and personalization that goes beyond a typical clinic experience.
