Ana R. Rosell, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
10689 N Kendall Dr, Ste 211, Miami, FL
Hello! My name is Dr. Ana Rosell, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I earned both my Master of Science in Nursing and my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from Florida International University, where my doctoral research focused on the long-term impact of unresolved childhood trauma. I work with adolescents (16+), adults, and older adults (65+), offering psychiatric evaluations, medication management (both controlled and non-controlled), and supportive psychotherapy when appropriate. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and panic disorder, and I approach every patient with empathy, curiosity, and respect. My style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered — I truly believe that mental health care works best when we build a partnership grounded in trust and understanding. My philosophy is simple: you are the expert of your story, and I’m here to help you make sense of your symptoms, strengthen your coping tools, and feel more like yourself again. In practice, I use a mix of treatment approaches to make sure you feel supported from every angle. I start by getting to know you through a thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, and if medication is part of your plan, I’ll guide you through that process in a way that feels clear and collaborative. I also pull from evidence-based therapies like cognitive-behavioral techniques and mindfulness strategies to help you build practical tools for daily life. One of my priorities is psychoeducation — I want you to understand what’s going on and why, because feeling informed is a powerful step toward feeling better. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that fits your goals and lifestyle, and I’ll be here with consistent follow-ups and support. My goal is to make your care feel grounded, approachable, and genuinely human.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
