About Andrea Dreffs
Andrea Dreffs is a board-certified physician assistant who has been practicing dermatology since 2014. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Oakland University, she attended Wayne State University for her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
She began her PA career in Neurology, where she diagnosed and treated patients for over six years before transitioning to Dermatology.
Andrea treats the full spectrum of dermatological conditions and also performs minor surgeries and cosmetic Botox. She enjoys providing patient education to ensure optimal care and the best outcomes. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology Physician Assistants and serves as a board member of The Michigan Dermatology PAs.

They were training somebody, she came up and tried to take a picture of a mole while I was completely naked. And they told her to back off, then she came up while I was naked after the doctor left and made me sign something completely naked. I also waited almost 45 minutes to be seen. I didn’t like the doctor, it felt like she wanted to prove that she knew more than me… I already know that that’s why I’m here. Super unhappy with the visit honestly.

I had great difficulty booking the correct type of appointment which resulted in not enough time for my appointment. I attempted several times to talk with someone in the office without success. I finally spoke with an individual on the phone regarding this concern but they did not verify it correctly. Andrea handled it beautifully once she understood I was in from out of town specifically for the appointment and fit me in. Everyone was very apologetic for the mixup. Please thank them for their kindness.

My experience from the very beginning was terrible with Corewell Health. My appointment was not just rescheduled without any notice, it was also transferred from the MD to her PA. I did not schedule an appointment with the PA, I scheduled to see the Doctor. Furthermore, I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes late and immediately the front desk tried to push me out the door. Front desk proceeded to tell me, the PA could no longer see me and I would have to reschedule. To sum up, the practice rescheduled my appointment without my permission, then they changed my appointment from the MD to a PA. THEN at the office the staff was rude and dismissive. I could hear them talking in the back office saying “no I’m leaving in 5 minutes”. Would never recommend anybody use Corewell for their healthcare needs.
