About Dr. Andrea Hughes
Dr. Andrea Hughes, D.O. has been providing care to the residents of the Northern Texas and Southern Oklahoma areas since 2018.
She calls the states of Alabama and Georgia home and has since settled into the great state of Texas. Dr. Hughes is a graduate of Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine from which she received her medical degree in South Carolina and then later completed her training at Texoma Medical Center in a 3 year Family Medicine residency.
She is a Family Medicine Board Certified physician who is licensed and trusted by the state of Texas to bring to you the premier care that you deserve.
In her spare time, Dr. Hughes enjoys traveling, exploring delectable cuisines and spending quality time with family and friends.

Some things are sort of beyond "description" with mere words. I felt like Dr. Hughes, her nurse Elaine, & I just "clicked" :) They both were personable, knowledgeable, easy, fun when it was called for, and serious/informational when IT was called for. I feel SO lucky to have found Dr. Hughes. It felt like having a wicked smart, super cool girlfriend who happens to be able to talk about your goals with you both kindly and honestly. She took a lot of time, told me about herself, listened attentively and helped me get what I needed. When my previous doctor of 20 years moved to College Station I thought I would never find anyone like her again, and I haven't until now. I finally have someone I fit with.

I have rarely, if ever, had an experience where I felt heard by the doctor. After years of neglecting my care because of poor experiences with doctors who were not thorough and did not prioritize my health over their bottom line - I was finally heard. Tests were ordered that had been delayed for years. Concerns were not dismissed. The staff was as thorough and caring as the doctor. 10/10 would recommend.
