Dr. Andrea Buckingham is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who earned her Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York, Buffalo. She helps with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, complex trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder, and narcissistic abuse recovery. Her trauma-informed, holistic, and collaborative approach strives to make patients feel comfortable while supporting and empowering them along their path. Dr. Buckingham dedicates time to completing thorough evaluations for new patients and those continuing psychiatric care. She individualizes treatment plans to fit each patient's needs, often including a combination of evidence-based medication management, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), brief psychotherapeutic interventions, and lifestyle changes. She has experience working with college students and veterans and providing gender-affirming mental health care.
Born and raised in Austria, Dr. Buckingham is fluent in German but is still learning to cook Austrian dishes. She is a lifelong learner who enjoys time with family, practicing yoga, and watching horror movies.

i am very happy with dr. buckingham.the zoom process has recently changed requiring a passcode. i called the office and was told they don't provide passcodes, so dr. buckingham had to call me.i had my therapy appointment, via zoom just before dr. buckingham and a passcode was provided in my email from her.

it was a good experience because i could talk freely, she asked pertinent questions and i felt comfortable enough to answer them. she also shared advice along the way that can help me with my anxiety and stress. i am very grateful to have seen her.

i have been struggling to find a psychiatrist for a couple months now. once i found dr. buckingham the process to become a new patient and to schedule an appointment was so easy. i was able to schedule an appointment and follow up appointment. my first appointment went really well and my nervousness disappeared with the kindness and compassion i received from dr. buckingham. i?m so relieved to have found mindpath and dr. buckingham.

the billing department has been a nightmare and disrespectful to me. they set up a payment plan for me but then kept charging me for visits. they refunded me $250 since im on a payment plan and today they called me and asked for that money back.
