What should a new client know about working with you?

When you come to work with me, you can expect a collaborative and personalized approach to your care. I believe in treating the whole person, which means we will explore not just your symptoms but the underlying factors affecting your mental well-being. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, insomnia, or adjusting to a life change, my goal is to provide you with practical tools and strategies that build on your strengths. I take a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach, combined with supportive care, to help you develop positive coping mechanisms and increase your sense of self-efficacy. I aim to create a warm and understanding environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns and working together on solutions that fit your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our sessions, I take time to get to know you and understand your unique story. This process usually unfolds over multiple appointments, allowing us to explore your personal background, health history, and what has brought you to seek care. I am known for taking a conservative approach to medication management, helping clients to understand and incorporate modifications in their behavior that can bring about stable mental health. In our sessions, we will often review exercise, nutrition, social activities, professional goals, family life, and personal growth. Together, we will work on creating sustainable practices that promote long-term mental health, focusing on consistency and small changes that can make a significant difference in your overall well-being.
