Andreana Coyle, RDN

Dietitian
CA
I have 17 years of experience as a nutrition professional – registered dietitian and nutritionist – in a variety of healthcare settings. I was raised holistically with an emphasis on the power of proper nutrition, which guided me to become a nutrition professional. I received a Bachelor in Biochemistry at the University of California in San Diego where I worked in science research laboratories. Then I decided to move back to Hawaii to get my Masters in Nutritional Sciences and complete the Dietetics program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After finishing these programs, I came back to California to attend the dietetic internship program at California State University at Long Beach. Then I became a Registered Dietitian and began my career in dietetics helping patients improve the quality of their lives and chronic diseases through the power of nutrition. A few years after that I discovered Functional Medicine and my true passion was born! According to the Institute of Functional Medicine, “Functional medicine determines how and why illness occurs and restores health by addressing the root causes of disease for each individual.” Functional Nutrition uses the concepts of functional medicine to help patients improve their overall health. Seeing people turn their health around is so inspiring and why I love working with people like you. I look forward to working with you and partnering with any healthcare providers you may have!
