About Dr. Andrew MacQuarrie

I strive to prioritize listening, learning, and wholehearted empathy in my practice of medicine. I love helping patients achieve their individual health goals by partnering together to make informed and evidence-based decisions. Prior to One Medical, I served as a Flight Surgeon in the US Air Force and gained a lot of experience in "outside-the-box thinking" to care for patients in resource-limited settings. I care for all ages and backgrounds, with a particular interest in sports injuries/musculoskeletal complaints and travel medicine. How I stay healthy and happy: I love running, hiking, camping, and playing hockey. Since moving to California, I've developed into an amateur surfer and yogi. Otherwise, I love being outside with my Australian Shepherd, Ushi, who always keeps me active even if I don't want to be!
