I've only had one session with Dr. Miller, and he put me completely at ease. I can't wait to continue treatment with him.
Told me that three walks a week would cure any depression. Grateful that he did not charge me for this advice.
Excellent therapist—kind and easy to talk to. Really helped me through a rough patch. Highly recommended.
He was really great and put me right at ease. If he took my insurance I would see him again in a second!
Ace's. I almost gave terrible reviews because I don't want to risk him being overbooked.
Smart, thoughtful and lively. A very productive Doctor with great insight.

Very helpful, just wish he took insurance
I had about 8 visits with Dr. Miller and every time I found him to be extremely pleasant, attentive, and challenging (in a good way). Additionally, he was very willing to flex his schedule as much as he could to work with my 8-5 work gig. And, his office is super convenient to Union Square! I'd highly recommend him for anyone looking for a talented and comfortable therapist.

Dr. Miller is a wickedly smart, thoughtful, gifted communicator. His unmistakable warmth fills the room, but his clever and unquenchable thirst to understand my unique human experience is what immediately struck me within seconds of our first appointment. When searching for a therapist, I booked five appointments in five days, hoping to pick the best in the bunch. He was my first appointment and I immediately cancelled the rest; it was that obvious. Unlike many cold, distant clinicians who play the role of unaffected observer, you know and feel he is invested in this with you. Within the first few appointments, he made several profound connections/observations which immediately lifted the weight of (decades of) life from my shoulders. He wears many hats, and wears them well. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
literally the best guy for the job
I came into my visit with Dr. Miller with a lot of apprehension about starting therapy. Dr. Miller addressed my concerns directly and helped me look objectively at the pros and cons of entering treatment at this time. He is compassionate, warm, and has a great sense of humor, which helped me relax and talk more openly. I look forward to my next appointment and I am very hopeful that Dr. Miller can help me address some of the issues that have been bothering me for a long time. I would recommend anyone on the fence to schedule a time to visit Dr. Miller, just to talk through your options, even (or especially) if you are unsure about whether treatment is a good idea right now.
Starting therapy was not the easiest thing for me, but Dr. Miller immediately put my nerves at ease. He's been invaluable in helping me navigate some difficult issues, and I really appreciated his kind, empathic, and pragmatic style. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller to anyone looking for outstanding therapist who is both insightful and down-to-earth.
