He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine. I was a little late getting there because the parking is tough at the huge medical complex, but it was no problem, they started me on the forms and the doctor saw me quite soon after I arrived.

He is amazing!! I have been having serious pain in my upper abdomen for the past 3 weeks and have already completed an ultra sound and Ct scan both showing nothing, while other doctors were quick to chalk it up to IBS or some easy fix he actually sat with me and went over all the things he thought it could be and procedures that will need to take place for next steps. He put my mind at ease and was super informative explaining everything. Doctors like this are hard to come by.

Dr. Roorda is a very good listener and I felt quite comfortable describing my symptoms to him. He spent a good amount of time asking questions and understanding my issues and then put forward a few hypothesis he had. I have been to a few doctors about this issue but for the first time, I felt that I was talking to a real expert. He also came across as a very friendly and empathetic person.

He is very attentive, and intelligent regarding his field. If there is something that he isn't sure about he will not hesitate to refer you elsewhere. His bedside manner always exceeds my expectations, and he is an all around great doctor in the gastroenterology field. I have a complicated health background and moved here from MD where I was receiving infusions for Crohn's disease. He saw me right away and was able to keep my infusions on track. He's available after hours for emergencies as well. Great doctor!!!!

Dr. Roorda listened very carefully to my symptoms. He outlined courses of action and what the risk/benefit was of each option. I had a procedure done by Dr. Roorda. Overall it was a positive experience I have only one complaint- between the doctor and my insurance company pricing was completely opaque! Could you imagine buying a car and not knowing how much it costs? Could you imagine moving into an apartment and not knowing how much it costs? This is not a problem with Dr. Roorda's office but a problem with medicine in general in this country. I give Dr. Roorda 5 stars, U.S. medical/insurance system 1 star.

Office is NOT in sync with ZocDoc. Booked two appointments, and both were cancelled without notice. Only upon calling the office did I find out that they do not take appointments through this app. Wish I knew that before booking :/

Probably the best doctor visit I've had in life. Dr. Roorda took his time to listen to my concerns, he explained the probably issues, explained possible procedures and we left with a very optimistic game plan. If I could find all doctors like Dr. Roorda, life would be perfect. I've never had a better experience with a physician where I left educated, optimistic, offered various options and was invited to come talk to Dr. Roorda at any time.

His staff are very professional, personable, and informative. He is very intelligent and patient oriented. His focus is definitely the well being of his patients, and communicating with them in a manner that they can receive. He is very accommodating and willing to hear his patients' every word.
