About Dr. Andrew Stynchula

Dr. Andy earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard. His inspiration came from family and personal experience. His father, also Andy Stynchula, suffered knee and back injuries after nine years in the NFL. After retiring, he coped with pain and decreased mobility. As a child, Dr. Andy often saw his dad get adjusted by a chiropractor uncle, who provided immediate and lasting relief. His father often credited chiropractic for his competitive golf career.
Later, when Dr. Andy had his own issue, a chiropractor identified an old fall and core imbalance from heavy lifting that caused a weakened, unstable spine area. He asked Dr. Andy what quality of life he wanted into his 50s and beyond. Dr. Andy chose to invest in a corrective program, and the rest is history.
Striving to offer the most up-to-date care, Dr. Andy devotes countless hours to continuing education. He attends seminars on nutrition, rehabilitation, whiplash, sports injuries, and advances like cold laser, infrared, and spinal decompression.
With four kids who played travel sports and a disabled brother, I've learned to become a better listener. These traits, combined with time-tested techniques and old-fashioned compassion, shape his vision to change present-day health care and help families make informed decisions.

I go to Mosaic Spine and Knee Chiropractic. I have had back pain and headaches for many years. Dr. Andy has helped me tremendously! After a short period of time, my back pain is almost gone and I haven’t had any more headaches! I highly recommend Dr. Andy and his staff. They are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Five stars from me!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Andy. I didn’t think my spine issues could be addressed ad while they can’t be totally fixed his work has helped improve my mobility greatly and greatly reduced pain. Furthermore, he helped me to develop a plan so that I can maintain these gains. Couldn’t be happier. I feel much younger. Just can’t ask for anything more.

My family and I have been going to this family run practice for many years. I have been seen for back pain as well as severe muscle pulls. Dr. Andy has always taken his time with me during visits and always explains in detail the issues and cure. He clearly cares about his patients. The practice has state of the art equipment which is a huge plus. I highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Dr. Andy Stynchula, as he is very knowledgeable and extremely caring. The office for Mosaic Spine and Knee is clean and welcoming. He has a fabulous and friendly staff. I had been seeing the doctor for a knee issue, which is now better. I continue to see him for regular adjustments to my spine. I’m so glad I found Dr. Stynchula who has helped me immensely.

The chiropractor became flustered and frustrated when i asked if the x rays i would be referred to get would be covered by insurance. Instead of asking the front desk, he went on a 20+ minute rant about the cost of being healthy, saying at different times that there was no insurance billing code he could give me and to not tell radiology I had insurance so I could get a better deal (untrue, and illegal). I was hesitant to continue, so I asked to leave but he said he already was halfway through the assessment for the day so we might as well finish. I said okay, so he gestured for me to lie down on the table and then moved my body parts roughly without any warning. He spent a lot of time on my hips (I didn’t come in for any lower body issues, I asked him to assess my shoulder and he said the neck was a related issue). In testing my hips, he would place two fingers on the side of my butt check and wiggle them roughly, doing little aside from jiggling my butt. I was very uncomfortable.

Dr. Andy has made a huge difference in my quality of life. I am getting back--slowly--to the active lifestyle I enjoy. I really appreciated the home program recommendations, and Dr. Andy's expertise in supervising my form in the clinic. I have received chiropractic care for years at another practice, but here my spine has been rehabilitated.

A wealth of information and lots of exercises and practices you can do on your own as well. He is a good human being and commited to health & healing.

I'd been in constant discomfort from my left lower back down through my leg since late 2021. I tried physical therapy and would have a brief reprieve, but would regularly reaggravate my back. I'd always been skeptical of chiropractors, but had reached the point where I'd give anything a try. I began my treatment plan with Dr. Andy in January 2023. When I started his plan I was having trouble sleeping and was limited in my workouts at the gym (I've worked out 2-3 hours a day 5 days a week for years-physical limitation was also mentally trying!) It's now the end of April. After a few months with Dr. Andy I'm pain-free and back to my workouts with an even healthier and smarter approach.

Dr. Andy is excellent. After seeing over 12 doctors and being subjected to many treatments and over medicated, Dr Andy did an assessment and treated my multiple “misterios” ailments. After a few sessions, I was able to function well and no longer needed all the previous treatments I was under. I was finally pain free!!! I thoroughly recommend him and thank him for giving me my life back. I must say that I was treated with care and respect and the staff is always friendly.

Outstanding experience. As a new patient they thoroughly asked a multitude of questions to understand the problem and completely listened to my issues. They talked through how and why the human body does and reacts as it does sometimes. They were patient and took time to talk though the current situation with care and kindness. Their initial evaluation tested numerous aspects related to my issues and ordered appropriate X-rays to further investigate prior to establishing a treatment plan. I’ve been dealing with some painful issues for several years and considering how thorough and knowledgeable both the Dr and his wife were, I am completely optimistic and excited for improvements!
