About Dr. Andrew West

Dr. Andrew West is a board-certified family medicine physician providing full-spectrum care to patients, starting at birth and extending through their lifetime. He treats patients as his own family and is passionate about caring for the whole family through medicine and prayer. Dr. West earned his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from Texas Tech University, then completed his medical degree at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed his clinical rotations at TTUHSC's Permian Basin campus. Dr. West is West Texas born and raised. He met his wife, Amanda, while living in Midland. They moved to the Midwest for residency training but are excited to be back in Texas and close to family. When he’s not caring for his patients, Dr. West enjoys hosting friends and family while living life and doing ministry with his wife and son, Alex. Fun Facts about Dr. West we think you'll love: Dr. West grew up on a cotton farm. He was his high school valedictorian. He was a 4-year member of the Texas Tech Goin' Band from Raiderland. He is a proud "First 100" at Chick-fil-A, his favorite restaurant! Dr. West got engaged on Leap Day and married during the pandemic. He is also the winner of the 2022 snowman competition.
