“Angela was great! I felt like I could really be myself with her. She was understanding and always offered options for what might work best. The medication for depression helped a lot, which was a relief. Anxiety was tougher; we tried different meds, but nothing seemed to stick. We also talked about attention issues and how they were affecting my work, but we decided to focus on anxiety first. Looking back, I wish we’d tackled both at the same time because the anxiety treatment was a bit of a struggle”

Hi! I am a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I graduated with FNP from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center a little over 7 years ago. I practiced in a rural health family practice clinic for 5 years before returning to school to get my PMHNP to provide better care for my clients. I help children and adults ages 5 and up overcome life's challenges and achieve mental well-being.
