“My appointment was very thorough and I felt like we're moving quickly to try and figure out how best to help me. The appointment started late, but it seems it was due to some weird technical difficulties and I was still seen for the normal length of the appointment time. I didn't see it as a big deal on my end and we still made progress. Overall a good experience, very kind and professional.”

I had a pleasent visit with Angela. I was anxious about this meeting, but she explained her thought process very well. She used a ton of helpful metaphors to help explain the process, and I found those especially beneficial for understanding. She was patient and took her time with me, going over a bunch of different possibilities.

Ive been to many psychiatrists before and often feel like they dont really listen to my concerns and just try to push different medications on me but I did not have that experience with Angela. I felt super comfortable, listened to, and validated!

Filling out the new patient information took a while, but I appreciated how thorough it was, and there was no lack of communication between me and the provider. I felt listened to and like the provider cared, and I look forward to working with Ann Arbor Psych in the future.

It went well. I listed what I was worried about during the intake notes, and they were decently well versed in what to look for. When asking diagnostic questions, they gave some examples on both ends of the spectrum for the condition, to try and figure out where to go next
