About Dr. Angela Gonzalez
Dr. Angela Gonzalez is a board-certified Internist practicing in South Florida with over 25 years of experience. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed both her internship and residency at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Gonzalez has also practiced medicine in her native Puerto Rico. She is an extremely dedicated physician who consistently goes above and beyond to exceed her patients' expectations. Dr. Gonzalez and her bilingual staff are here to support all of your medical needs.
No Show Policy for New Patients:
Our no-show policy is as follows: a 24-hour notice is required. We understand that emergencies or work and family obligations may arise. However, when you do not cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from receiving much-needed treatment. If an appointment is not canceled at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a fee; this fee will not be covered by your insurance company.
No Show Policy for Existing Patients:
Our no-show policy is as follows: a 24-hour notice is required. After the first no-show, you will receive a phone call to remind you of the missed appointment and to reschedule. After the second no-show, you will be charged a fee for the time slot we were unable to fill (this fee will not be covered by your insurance). On the third no-show, it will be at the physician's discretion whether a discharge letter will be sent, disengaging you from the practice and giving you 30 days to enroll with a new physician.
Late Arrival Policy:
To make your visit more comfortable and minimize wait times, our office has implemented a late arrival policy. If a patient is more than 15 minutes late for an appointment, it will need to be rescheduled. This applies to both new and existing patients.
