About Dr. Angela Jackson

I am interested in all aspects of medical education. In particular, I am passionate about helping to hone teaching skills for educators-residents, chief residents, and faculty. Until recently, my primary focus in curriculum development has been in Primary Care resident education, with a special emphasis on creating curricula that enable residents to develop the skills necessary to become leaders in healthcare, especially in serving underserved patients. My initiatives have included integrating public health and mental health into residency training, fostering leadership skills for physicians, promoting patient advocacy, and developing professional development plans for residents and junior faculty. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University in Philadelphia, which has informed my commitment to advancing medical education and leadership in healthcare.
