About Angela Miatke

Angela Miatke RD,CSOWM, has been a registered dietitian for over 18 years. She is a board-certified specialist in weight management and specializes in weight management and bariatrics. She studied and completed her undergrad in nutrition at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and completed her dietetic internship program through the University of Delaware. Her experience has been in the hospital inpatient and outpatient settings providing medical nutrition therapy and counseling for weight management, cardiac health, renal disease, gastrointestinal disorders, pre surgery, and post surgery bariatric patients. Her training and experience includes use of evidenced-based guidelines and focus on individualized, realistic goal setting for supporting lifestyle change and positive outcomes for improved health. When not at work, Angela spends time with her four young children. She volunteers as a youth soccer coach and loves to watch her kids compete in youth sports. She is an avid runner and finds time compete in local races. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group.
