She graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University. Angelica has always loved working with children. In her teenage years, she started working at a preschool and found great joy! After her undergraduate studies, she taught elementary students in the Tomball Independent School District for five years. It was rewarding to see her students' faces light up after learning new concepts. After completing her post-baccalaureate and graduate coursework, she served the students in the Magnolia Independent School District for seven years. She then became intrigued by the home health setting. She enjoyed connecting with her patients and their families in a natural environment. Angelica has transitioned to the clinic setting where she continues to form positive relationships with her patients and their families. She loves hearing about their interests, traveling adventures, schooling journeys, etc. Angelica is passionate about providing patients and families with the knowledge and tools needed to communicate effectively. She enjoys using play-based activities, technology, literacy-based activities, and vocabulary enrichment during therapy. She is dedicated to helping her precious patients communicate with their loved ones and SHINE!
