What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that our moments of crisis are opportunities for tremendous personal growth and transformation. During our initial session, I will help you identify your unique challenges and highlight your unique strengths that will assist you through your healing. It is important to acknowledge the limitations of the human body. Medications can be an essential component of the treatment plan, allowing you the mental clarity and physical stability to engage in the courageous work of introspection and meaningful change. During our consultation, I will help you determine if you may benefit from medications. I will comprehensively lay out treatment options, specific to your situation, providing you the knowledge to make the most informed decision for your health. Ultimately, the choice to try medications is up to you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I utilize a holistic approach, taking care to equally address the biological, mental, and spiritual elements that influence behavioral health. I specialize in medication management, and provide talk therapy for all my clients. I provide a well-rounded therapeutic experience, intended to complement and supplement any skills gained from your work with other healthcare clinicians. It is common for clients, and at times recommended, to concurrently engage in regular talk therapy with a therapist, in addition to the mental health support that I provide.
