Getting to know Ani Behrouzi

I was drawn to psychiatry during my clinical rotation in nursing school, as I've always believed in the “mind/body connection.” I understand that the brain plays a crucial role in our physical health, so it is only natural that emotional unrest can lead to physical consequences. Therefore, optimal health is derived from both a strong body and mind. I earned my Bachelor's degrees from New York University and San Diego State University, and completed my Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing at Eastern Kentucky University. I am passionate about what I do as a PMHNP because I believe it's a privilege to treat a person during one of the most vulnerable moments of their life. It would be an honor to work with you through this difficult time to find long-term solutions.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
