About Dr. Anisha Bassi

Anisha Bassi is a dedicated and insightful internist based in Glen Burnie, MD. Dr. Bassi attended Towson University in Maryland, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her medical degree from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
Dr. Bassi holds admitting privileges at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center and the Sinai Hospital. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians. Her medical experience includes the treatment and management of a variety of dysfunctions, including high blood pressure, sore throat, sexually transmitted diseases, and diabetes. She is committed to providing the best care and establishing long-lasting relationships with her patients. She consistently follows up with them even when their treatment plans involve doctors from other specialties.
Outside of work, Dr. Bassi enjoys playing the tabla, which is a classical Indian percussion instrument, and cooking. She is conversational in Spanish and fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Dr. Bassi does offer Saturday appointments twice monthly. Please call the office directly for more information. We also offer Telemedicine where urgent appointments can be completed via webcam. This is a new feature we have recently added to Chesapeake Medical Associates.
