Ann Funk, CCC - SLP, SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist
GA
Hi! I'm Ann. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2022. Like many others, I want to make a difference in the world. Through the work of a speech language pathologist, I believe that enhancing the lives of others by helping them overcome obstacles and setting them up for success is an incredible way of making a difference. Utilization of evidence-based interventions, counseling, education and compassion, an SLP is able to connect with individuals and help them set and achieve goals both in therapy and in their personal lives. I have worked in clinical settings such as: schools, telehealth, university clinics, and pediatric outpatient therapy. Continuing education and flexible thinking are exciting ways to enhance my clinical skills! I am currently finishing up a course of Gestalt Language Processing. I look forward to future education and training on It Takes Two to Talk and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
