About Anna Duke

Anna Duke (she/her), MS, RD, is a Raleigh sports & eating disorder nutritionist and registered dietitian who practices through a Health at Every Size lens and incorporates the principles of intuitive eating into her client work She believes that everyone deserves a healthy, peaceful relationship with food. With compassion, evidence-based guidance, and a focus on gentle nutrition, Anna empowers clients in each session to connect with their bodies and cultivate lasting, sustainable change. As a dietitian, Anna is passionate about helping people manage chronic diseases and other health conditions without rigid rules or strict diets. She has expertise and intuitive eating, and believes that all client can and should have a peaceful relationship with food. Anna has expertise in sports nutrition and loves helping clients nourish themselves for better performance and better health. She meets clients where they are and works collaboratively to build stepping stones toward a healthier relationship with food and body image. Her approach is rooted in weight-inclusive care and informed by the broader social and environmental factors that shape eating behaviors. Her goal is for every client to leave sessions feeling seen, supported, and empowered. Anna earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition from Appalachian State University. She completed her 1,200+ hour Dietetic Internship at Atrium Health and The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in Charlotte, North Carolina. During her time at Renfrew, she worked alongside the lead dietitian to provide meal support, facilitate group nutrition education, and offer one-on-one counseling. She became a licensed dietitian nutritionist (LDN) in 2023. Outside of work, Anna enjoys distance running, weightlifting, and baking big batches of chocolate chip cookies.
