She asked questions related to my concern and she had me do some tests the same day, also scheduled other test as she wants to check everything and make sure to see everything before giving me medication or doing some remedy with my concerns. This was my follow up appointment. Waited over an hour to be attended by the doctor. They had stacked 5 appointments in one hour since the doctor is at the 45th St location once a week. They need to spread out the appointments a little better. Once I got to see the doctor, she only saw me for maximum 5 minutes. What was a follow up appointment, could have been a quick phone call. No need to have paid for the appointment if I waited for that long and only got a quick response.

Got to the office and the staff did a great job at getting me checked in right away. Anna was great at talking through everything. She was very thorough and asked a lot of questions in order to understand my pain better. Anna was able to answer all my questions and made me feel comfortable when speaking to her. She let me know all my options and also asked to follow up with her in a week. Overall, this was a great visit and I look forward to going back and getting to the bottom of my pain.

I would not recommend this place. They assumed the doctor can finish one patient every five minutes and schedule unreasonable patients for a day. The patient I talked to her appointment time was 5 mins earlier than mine. Are you kidding ? This cause a long wait for everyone. Some people could not wait and just leave before they see the doctor. My wait time is 90 mins. The reason I chose this facility is because it has a lot of availability. Now I understand why. Secondly it seems that she ordered the same test for everyone. Once you see her, you go to the next room for a 10 mins test, then you go to another room for. 20 mins test. This was the same routine for the a few patients before me too. They refused to share the test results and you have to make a follow up appointment if you want to get it. Thirdly, the facility looks like a factory or temporary office. She sits very far from the patient and I feel like I am being interrogated.

Doctor Anna Kofan seems good and knowledgeable. Her bedside manner seems good. The office staff is horrible and cold. They seem overwhelmed and disorganized. Be expected to be shuffled around and if you need any tests the test facilitators barely speak English and do not explain what is being done or why. I’ve had to request doctor Kogan to come in to supervise so I had no clue what they were doing. Also the building is a bit dilapidated and seems like a run of the mill clinic versus a professional medical office. I would not recommend this doctor because of the office staff. There are so many other neurologists in NYC that would have friendlier and more organized office staff. It’s a shame since they basically ruin the reason why you are there; to see a good doctor.

Dr. Kogan was extremely professional, thorough, and friendly. She was just as concerned about my pain and issues and getting to the bottom of it. We are waiting on tests and I have a follow up but I am extremely happy I went to Dr. Kogan for this visit. Thank you!

This was no fault of Dr. Kogan, but the visit was unnecessary. The front desk people were tyrants who refused to give me the results of the EEG (the results being good).
Dr. Kogan is great, but I don't care for this particular office.
