About Anna Kokolas
Anna Kokolas, MSPAS, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant in New York specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. Anna completed her undergraduate studies in biological sciences at Clemson University in South Carolina. She then went back to her home state of Maryland for several years and worked as a medical assistant at one of the top dermatology practices in the DC/MD/VA area. It is here that she found her passion for working in dermatology and helping patients who struggle with various skin conditions.
Anna moved to New York City and received a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University – Lenox Hill Hospital. She completed the TDS training program under the supervision of Dr. Choudhury and many other providers here. Anna is dedicated to providing superior medical care, compassion, and empathy to each of her patients. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Anna enjoys frequenting dog runs with her dog, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She’s excited to begin her career with The Dermatology Specialists!

I was able to get a quick appointment, which means a lot as my hospital didn’t schedule me with a dermatologist until months out. Ana was great, she was able to tell me exactly what was wrong and made me comfortable.

Never thought I'd say this, but I actually now look forward to going to the derm! Anna is excellent - listens well, doesn't rush, clearly understands my concerns, and works with me on a treatment that makes sense. I've seen huge improvement in my skin since beginning work with Anna, and I also feel very safe regarding my skin cancer risk due to the thoroughness of Anna's skincare checks. The office is also conveniently located with friendly, knowledgeable staff, and a minimal wait time the several times I've been there. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing from beginning to end. My daughter was developing scalp dermatitis and I was very concerned. The doctor was kind, knowledgeable, and provided the appropriate medication. Within 3 weeks the dermatitis had vanished. The doctor also kindly followed up with me to check in. 5 stars!!

I have been searching for a good dermatologist for years and finally found one in Dr. Kokolas. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. And most important, her bedside manner was second to none. Highly recommend and will see her again for all future dermatology needs.

It was very pleasant! The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, the doctor’s assistant was professional and responsive to my concerns, the attending physician was equally helpful and accommodating. Overall, it was a good experience!
