About Dr. Anna Lavotshkin
As primary care physicians we feel that health care centers on the doctor-patient relationship. We take the time to get to know our patients and understand their lives.
Please note: If you use Medicaid, you must change your Primary Care Physician before the appointment is booked.
It is our aim to provide the most current and evidenced based medicine that focuses on preventive care as well as diagnosing and caring for chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes. We understand the struggles of weight management and have realistic weight loss and weight maintenance strategies to offer our patients.
We feel that the primary care physician should be involved in every aspect of the patient’s health always bearing in mind that a whole is a sum of its parts. Patients should be able to go to one doctor for all their health needs and when needed referrals are to be made to qualified specialists.
In office procedures include blood draw, urinalysis, pulmonary function testing as well as screening for common diseases such as Diabetes and Thyroid disorders. Genetic testing for hereditary cancer syndromes is an integral part of patient health and primary prevention and testing is available on site as well.
We welcome new patients and look forward to a long lasting doctor-patient relationship.
We also offer home visits for home bound patients.
Dr. Lavotshkin studied medicine at Sackler School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine training at Englewood Hospital where she was recognized for academic excellence and dedication.

I made an apt with this Dr, but was seen by another Dr. I was not told about it all but had to clarify when another dr’s name was mentioned. I waited over an hour to be seen and not once was the wait acknowledged. I was told they’d call me about bloodwork results in about a week, 2 weeks after my appt I called the office bc I still had not heard from them. I was told I was on the Dr’s list to call to discuss results and they would not be sending me my results prior to that. I had to go back and forth with the front desk to finally get the results emailed to me. It is now almost 3 weeks later and I still never got that phone call. The Dr I saw did seem to have good bedside manner but overall this wasn’t a very positive experience

I tried the video call for the first time and wasn’t so pleasant, because I had to wait for about 50 minutes when I called the office to check what was going on. The medical assistant connected me with the Doctor, she mentioned she wasnt being able to log in.
I think she did solve my problem, but it did feel like she wanted to just get it over.
The office didn’t send me any forms ahead of time to get my medical history or anything, doctor had to get it after she listen to my issue first.
The doctor nor the medical assistant asked if I would like to book an appointment to do a further check up. I guess the doctor didnt want any further patients.
Depending what you are looking for this doctor might suit you.
