What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and I am highly skilled with diagnosing and treating children, adolescents and adults with ADD/ADHD, depression, and anxiety. I am dedicated to providing psychiatric care with a heart emphasizing thorough and evidence based psychiatric care using empathetic, compassionate, and individualized care. I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate and effective mental health care and I am committed to advocating for my patients' well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The initial appointment will be an hour-long session where we will discuss your reason for seeking treatment as well as psychiatric, medical and social history. At the end of the initial session, diagnoses will be made and a mutually agreed upon treatment plan will be developed which could include medication and therapy treatment options. Follow up appointments will address medication concerns or adjustments as well as any therapy will be provided if part of the treatment plan.
