I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), specializing in comprehensive psychiatry and all diagnosis. With nearly 20 years of experience in medicine, I've seen how crucial mental health is to our overall well-being. As a military spouse of 25 years and a mother of two, I have a deep, hard-earned understanding of the sacrifices made by both the military service members and their families and the toll they can take on mental health. I've lived through many of those challenges myself, and I bring that real-world understanding into the care I provide. I am passionate about helping my clients feel hope and peace again and empowering them to experience positive changes in their lives.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am firm believer in the power of small actions leading to great improvements in an individual's life. If you are worn down by depression and anxiety, going through difficult transitions in life, or feel overwhelmed by managing your symptoms, I will be your advocate and support. I specialize in comprehensive psychiatry services and treating the person as a whole.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My approach includes psychopharmacological interventions, psychotherapeutic interventions (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectictical Behavior Therapy skills, Acceptance and Commtiment Therapy, and Supportive Pscychotherapy), and evidence-based interventions aimed at improving overall quality of life (sleep, nutrition, exercise, social connection, mindfulness).

I have been to other providers and felt like I was just another appointment to get through. When I met with Anna I felt seen and heard. Anna took time to talk with me and ask questions to make sure she understood what I was feeling and why I was there. Anna made sure that I felt comfortable with the treatment plan we decided on and was very encouraging about working together to help me feel better. I would definitely recommend Anna as a provider.
