I have been frustrated by Dr. Slavin each time I’ve seen her. She’s quick to blow things off even if you’re worried about them. Not a good listener and not interested in the patient’s concerns, requests, experiences. I’m looking for a new doctor.

My primary doctor in Staten Island is retiring after 43 years. My daughter is currently a patient with this physicians group and highly recommended them. I was not disappointed. First, I was a bit tardy because I had a problem with my travel directions. However, I was pleasantly greeted when I arrived and processed in a cordial manner.
The session with Dr. Slavin was extensive and professional. She examined and questioned me to establish my medical history and based on our conversation she directed me to other lab locations for imaging and noted suggestions for my medications.
This was my New Patient visit and I was well pleased.
I would definitely recommend her.

It was my first time meeting with this doctor but from her nice calm professional approach, all my nervousness disappear. She is a great listener and a knowledgeable physician who answer all my worries and set a great strategy for treatment. Extremely satisfied and recommend this office.

After completing the registration information on the website the physician's office reached out to me, verified my information and confirmed the appointment that I chose online. My initial visit went well, the office was very clean and esthetically pleasing and the doctor and staff were welcoming. The doctor was extremely nice. When I walked in the office I had pains in my chest. The doctor Ben Wanted an EKG right there EKG machine didn't work well so she called 911. Went to Staint Peter Hospital. I went home And took my blood pressure and it was 114 over 70. She was a blessing to be around.

It was a routine annual visit that the office tried to move the schedule of because the doctor wanted to leave early. Nothing out of the ordinary with some labs to be run. However, after the lab results were out I haven't heard anything from them for weeks. I was relatively healthy with some liver markers out of the ordinary so I assumed there wasn't anything important that was wrong. Given that I wasn't getting any sort of callback following up about the lab results I tried using the patient portal (which boldly claims that they will get back to you in two business days at most) naively assuming it will be easier to just send a direct short message telling me either everything is ok, or I should see her or a specialist for a follow up. It has been 12 days since I posted on the patient portal and over a month since my visit, still haven't heard anything. When I called the office I was told I'm on docket and the doctor will get back to me. Finger crossed to hear back within the month.
