“I’m so grateful for Doctor Anselm Onyeneke. I felt really heard and he is very good on giving information, feedback, he makes sure that I understand everything. And he holds you accountable as well which is very needed for me. Plus he transmits a lot of peace always. I was in a very dark place and in 2 months I’m back to being myself again. I know that Everyone time line is different, keep that in mind. But that is my personal experience. Anyways I definitely recommend him.”

Anselm has ben a huge help in my journey to wellness.
The physician seemed more concerned with shielding himself/office from trouble than helping. Questions asked in on-boarding paperwork were asked again, some verbatim. I did not feel I had his complete attention or interest. I am disappointed.

I have made 2 appointments and have never heard from the provider. Terrible service I would not recommend this provider for mental health needs.

I had a terrible experience with this provider. I scheduled 2 appointments for medication management, and during the appointments, the provider tried to take me off a medicine that I have been on for years and did not want to stop taking. The provider also promised to call me back but never did. I am very disappointed because now I'm running low on my meds, and despite scheduling two appointments, the provider never followed through. I would not recommend this provider to anyone.

Anselm is rather unprofessional in his appointment booking and was not very helpful. I had booked an appointment with Anselm a week in advance to give myself time to prepare for a psychiatric evaluation, but was called within 30 minutes of booking and was expected to drop everything and move the meeting to later that same day. During the appointment, Anselm did not attempt to build any rapport with me, instead diving straight into his assessment. He began by asking a few questions about the reason behind my appointment, and within 15 minutes he completely shut down any possibility of me suffering from a mental health disorder, instead suggesting that my struggles were simply due to a lack of discipline. It wasn’t until after I pushed back on his evaluation that he begrudgingly agreed to proceed with a more standardized assessment, and only then did he begin to consider that I may suffer from a mental health disorder. I quickly ended services with him after that.
