Getting to know Anthonia Nzika
At Empowerment Health Solutions, I am dedicated to providing Psychiatric Evaluations, Medication Management, and Talk Therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and their families, both in-person and via Telehealth. My goal is to empower children and adults toward a quick recovery from depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, ODD, CD, SAD, and more. I also collaborate with a dedicated team of specialists who offer a wide range of therapy and holistic care. I hold a Master’s in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, which support my commitment to delivering comprehensive mental health services.
What should a new client know about working with you?
At Empowerment Health Solutions we use holistic treatment approach to empower and promote your highest functioning, educate and counsel you and your family to increase your mental health awareness therefore reducing any stigma associated with your mental healthcare. We work with you to explore how imbalance(s) of your mind-body-spirit can affect you and your relationships. It is also important to note that control substances are prescribed by our provider only for emergency use to alivate critical symptoms, and only at in-person third or fourth office visit when all other interventions have failed and the individual passed drugs screening test.
We know how challenging life can be when thriving with mental health, as such we are committed to ensure our services are more flexible and accessible to you either by just simply dialing on video call through telehealth or coming to the office which is off Hamilton Road and on Bus station.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
During your visit, a complementary pscyhiatric assessment will be completed through interviewing process, after which, a diagnosis and a treatment plan will be implimented. The treament plan may be consist of laboratory work, therapy, medication management or both base on the diagnostic criteria.

Initial session: $210 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $140 for 30 minutes

- Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
- Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

We accept insurances, we help you file a claim to your insurance. Co-payments are due at the time of the visit and the amount depends on your insurance. We offer 10% discountfor private pay patients and the 50% of the payments is due at the appointment. The rest of the payment should be completed within one month of the appointment. Checking if our services are covered by your insurance is patient's responsibility. If the claim is denied it is the patient responsibility to pay the services in full. So it is advisable to check with your insurance for coverage before scheduling your appointment.
