About Dr. Anthony Bertelle
Dr. Anthony Bertelle is a warm, compassionate internist treating patients in Brooklyn, New York, and the surrounding communities. His primary goal as a provider is to ensure that each of his patients receives excellent care. He holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also multilingual, speaking English, Spanish, Italian, and Russian.
In order to pursue his medical degree, Dr. Bertelle attended the University of Bologna. He continued his medical education at the Maimonides Medical Center. Here, he received residency training in internal medicine and completed a fellowship program focused on the study of hematology. He is now affiliated with New York Methodist Hospital and Lutheran Healthcare.

I didn't know there was a live action Sweet Valley High. Trying to imply that a stranger doesn't like New Yorkers is a highly inflammatory statement. I do not go around screening people to see if they're native New Yorkers, nor did I know that had anything to do with healthcare.
It's also WEIRD to have certain individuals antagonize a stranger based off word of mouth and whatever interconnected system being used.
Passive aggressive behavior only shows a lack of maturity when it's directed at someone you've never had any prior interactions with. To purposely not confirm an appointment that was scheduled a wee earlier is wicked.
That short list of weird people with a repulsive character make the vast majority of decent people look bad.

would highly recommend Dr. Anthony Bertelle. If you’ve been searching for an endocrinologist, look no further! Dr. Bertelle genuinely cares about his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to getting to the root of your health concerns. For the first time, I left a doctor’s office with all my questions answered and peace of mind. Also nurse Drilona is awesome , I usually have a hard time getting my blood drawn but she made it easy and comfortable.

Dr. Bertelle is super friendly and he cares about his patients. If you want to spend the entire day there for annual check up in which only takes 15 minutes than by all means go there. It doesn't matter if you have an appointment expect to be there like 3 to 4 hours no exaggeration. The front desk prefers you call instead of booking your appointment on Zocdoc because they are always surprised when you tell them I booked on Zocdoc and the time I chose was available. They don't check for your appointment on Zocdoc unless you arrive and tell them so. Friendly doctor and nurses but the front desk and wait time is horrendous.

Dr. Bertelle was lovely, nurses and PA in training were kind and thorough. The front desk was a bit curt and off-putting for a first time patient looking for a new primary care office. The office staff were not professional as the waiting room could hear them complaining about people they just spoke with on the phone. Another woman in the waiting room said they are always like that but I’ve only been there once. I may go back but it was a hassle to get signed in. In terms of timing, I waited for 50 minutes to be seen, I was with the Dr for about 15 minutes and then I waited another 15-20 to have blood drawn.

Doctor and nurses were friendly and attentive. The staff in the front desk were the complete opposite. They had poor attitudes and even asked me to pay a copay I wasn't require to because they assumed I was the other asian patient office. It was not a pleasant experience and I had to wait 2 hours to be seen. I would come back just for the doctors who were very attentive and knowledgeable, but I'm also indifferent because of the staff.
