Anthony Ferraro, DPM, earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his residency in Podiatric Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. He is board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Ferraro proudly serves patients at Island Foot & Ankle locations in Amityville, Riverhead, Wading River, and West Islip, New York.
From simple sprains and strains to chronic pain and trauma, Dr. Ferraro has been trained in the latest techniques and has experience in every type of foot and ankle ailment and malady. He has advanced training in diabetic limb salvage, bunion repair, rearfoot and ankle trauma, arthroscopic repair of the ankle, sports medicine, and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Ferraro also serves to educate future podiatrists by participating as an attending for the Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center Podiatric Medicine and Surgical Residency Program.
Furthermore, Dr. Ferraro serves as Associate Chief of Podiatry at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, NY, and is an Honorary Police Surgeon for the Floral Park Police Department, Floral Park, NY.

I felt extremely confident that Doctor Ferraro knew exactly what had to be done. I had seen podiatrist in the past regarding white spots on my toe nail and this was the first time that a podiatrist snipped a part of my toe nail to be sent to the lab to be analyzed for possible fungus before doing any work. That's being thorough. I was very impressed.
