About Dr. April Graham
April D. Graham, DO, MPH, FAAP, is a pediatric physician with Atlantic Health. She has over 10 years of experience with an expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of common pediatric illnesses, and well-child care of patients from birth to 21 years old. Dr. Graham follows the osteopathic principle of treating her patients as a whole — body, mind, and spirit. She is committed to providing the highest quality care by offering individualized treatment plans based on each child’s specific needs.
After earning her osteopathic medicine degree from Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, NJ, Dr. Graham completed her pediatric residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. She previously earned a master’s degree in public health (MPH) with a concentration in epidemiology from Rutgers School of Public Health, Piscataway, NJ, after which she completed a graduate fellowship and served as a public health representative with the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services. Prior to joining Atlantic Health Pediatrics at Metuchen, Dr. Graham provided pediatric care at a federally qualified health center and more recently, a private practice.
Among her many community activities, Dr. Graham has participated in several health and wellness expos and baby fairs and presented on various topics, including childhood obesity and the impact of COVID-19 on the pediatric population. Dr. Graham is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and a member of the American Osteopathic Association. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
Dr. Graham and all Atlantic Health pediatricians and family medicine physicians strongly advocate for complete childhood vaccination as a critical measure in preventing vaccine-preventable diseases. They are committed to providing evidence-based education, emotional support, and building trust with parents to promote vaccine acceptance.

It’s hard to find providers that have a passion for health & wellness. The entire staff is dedicated to creating a positive experience for the patients. This was my first visit here & based on the professionalism & warmth exhibited, I’ve definitely found the perfect pediatrician. Btw if you’re a germaphobe like me, you’ll appreciate the cleanliness of the office & how the Doctor washed her hands upon entering the room. ??
