About Dr. Apurva Mallampati
Apurva Mallampati, MD, MPH also grew up in New Jersey. Dr. Mallampati graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Anthropology and Public Health, and went on to complete an MPH at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Mallampati’s experiences have given her a keen interest in leveraging clinical knowledge and advocacy into health policy. For this reason, she entered medical school at St. Georges School of Medicine with dreams of pursuing Family Medicine. She is passionate about preventative medicine, integrative medicine, and public health. In her spare time, she enjoys keeping up with her To-Be-Read list, the great outdoors, watching cheesy hallmark holiday and blockbuster action movies, and hanging out with her family. Dr. Mallampati has a particular interest in Community Medicine.

As a new patient, I was pleased to find a physician that was able to schedule me within one day of finding her. I was provided with clear directions to the office by Cynthia. When I arrived the office was perfectly lit and clean; felt very inviting. I was greeted and checked in right away. Moments later, I was called back by Mike (MA) and he was very pleasant as well. Dr. Mallampati is the absolute sweetest and this is the BEST first impression anyone could ask for! Bedside manner, eye contact, knowledge of Healthcare, being attentive to my family history and concerns I had, being sensitive to my culture/ethnicity...everything was A-plus PLUS!!! So happy I found her and this practice and would highly recommend Dr. Mallampati to anyone seeking a new PCP!!
