Dr. Arash Tirandaz, a highly qualified and experienced internist, is the proud founder of Internal Medicine Associates of Plano founder and CEO of our practice. He boasts a board certification in internal medicine, and it is with regret that he must inform the public that he is not accepting new patients at this time. Raised in Galveston, Texas, Dr. Tirandaz attended Ball High School before his family fled the Islamic Revolution in Iran to seek refuge in the United States in 1978. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and later a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. Dr. Tirandaz then returned to Galveston to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch where he received his medical degree in 1993. He honed his skills in internal medicine as a postgraduate trainee at the University of Alabama in Birmingham before embarking on a successful private practice in Plano in 1996. As an active member of the Baha'i Faith in Plano, Dr. Tirandaz resides in the area with his family.
