About Dr. Archit Patel
I wanted to become a healthcare provider because it gives me the opportunity to care for patients and the community. Healthcare combines human interaction and science, which I find deeply rewarding. I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Washington University in St. Louis, completed an internship in Preliminary Surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles, followed by a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center. I then pursued a fellowship in Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at The University of Chicago.
I love the hand surgery specialty because I get to help patients by relieving pain and restoring function to their hands, allowing them to return to their active lives. I connect with my patients by asking questions to understand their concerns and how their condition impacts their lifestyle. Together, we discuss the risks and benefits of different treatment options to develop a plan that is best suited for them.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and traveling. The advice I most often give my patients involves simple modifications that can help alleviate some of their symptoms and improve their quality of life.

All staff was very polite friendly patient and accommodating. Other than the wait time (I was late to original time) they were excellent, organized, flexible and very honest. I probably won’t return because of distance but if I was closer I would definitely back. Very trustworthy doctor.

Although I live an hour away it was worth the trip. Dr. Patel was very knowledgeable and had a great chairside manner. Took care of doing conservative therapy and X-rays of my wrist all in one appointment.
