Throughout her academic career, she helped educate medical students, physician assistant students, and residents while caring for patients at Children's Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, and the University of Colorado Hospital. She has participated in multidisciplinary research at Children's Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado, contributing to studies on adolescent PCOS, ectodermal dysplasia, pediatric alopecia, and pediatric dermatologic disorders.
