About Dr. Argirios Mantzoukas
Dr. Aris Mantzoukas has been in private practice since 2005 after completing a PMS-36 month residency program at Lutheran Medical Center, Level 1 trauma center in the heart of South Brooklyn. Dr. Mantzoukas holds a bachelors degree from C.U.N.Y. Queens College and a Doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Mantzoukas has extensive training in diabetic limb salvage, forefoot podiatric surgery and primary podiatric medicine and podiatric orthopedics.
Dr. Mantzoukas is Board Certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.
Dr. Mantzoukas also has a practice in Astoria Queens and is a clinical and surgical attending at NYU Lutheran and involvement with the clinical and surgical training of the podiatric surgical residency program. Dr. Mantzoukas is also a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Surgeons Division.
Dr. Mantzoukas has extensive training in surgically correcting acquired deformities of the foot, able to manage and treat acute trauma and fractures of the foot, treat dermatologic disorders that are common to the lower extremities, and treating various pathologies that are common in patients with diabetes and peripheral vascular disease including ulcers and limb salvage.
Dr. Aris Mantzoukas uses the latest procedures available including minimally invasive surgery techniques to treat painful neuromas and heel pain. Dr. Mantzoukas uses the latest technology to correct deformities of the foot and uses diagnostic modalities such as Digital X-ray, Diagnostic Ultrasound Imaging, and Vascular Dopplers to reach a correct and precise diagnosis, all done within the office.

He is a wonderful doctor who I trust with my feet ????. He did my bunion surgery 7 years ago and till this day I don’t have any problems. Just went to see him for a new issue that has been very bothersome and he fully explained what he could do to correct it and relieve my pain. I highly recommend him for your feet!

Dr Mantzoukas was very friendly, efficient, and informative. Diagnosed my situation and told me what I had to do quickly. Answered all my questions and was collaborative in helping me find a pharmacy for my medications.
The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I even called back for some things and they were very nice.

I was looking for a good podiatrist for a while due to the fact my last podiatrist doctor didn’t complete the job right. I had an ingrown nail in my left big toe. It was removed, but months later It started to hurt again and I had puss coming out. I got very frustrated so I didn’t even think to go back to the that doctor. I started searching for a new podiatrist and I finally found Dr. Mantzoukas!!! When I came for my appointment I was a bit late but the ladies at the front desk was nice and understanding. When I met Dr. Mantzoukas he approached me very friendly and professionally. He listened to my issue and what I had to say. He examined me carefully and told me that the ingrown nail started to grow again! I was so upset because I thought the last doctor removed it fully, but I guess not. Dr. Mantzoukas informed me that he can remove it today and make sure it never grows back. Dr. Mantzoukas made sure that the anesthesia part would be less painful than what happened to me at the other doctor office. Once everything was done he explained the post care and the healing process. He warned me of things I might see throughout the healing process and told me not to get scared. He prescribed me antibiotics (which the other doctor never did) , but Dr. Mantzoukas made sure to prescribed me cream and antibiotics so the healing process can heal 100%. Overall, I AM IMPRESSED with Dr. Mantzoukas and will be coming back for sure! Highly recommend this doctor you will be in great hands!

I visited Dr. Mantzoukas office for the first time this week and had an absolutely wonderful experience! He was thorough and specific in answering all of my questions and he put me completely at ease in regards to numerous issues I have with one of my feet. The lady at the front desk/RN/Assistant to the Doctor was also absolutely lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a podiatrist for any issue large or small.

Very content with my visit. Doctor is very attentive, he cleaned dead skin off my feet, and cut a callus. He was very professional and had a great attitude. I am happy with my new doctor! If you need to do a yearly check-up on your diabetes - I highly recommend!

Dr. Mantzoukas is extremely friendly and patient. He is also very thorough in explaining the condition and the process needed to heal it. All the assistants and front desk ladies are very nice as well and the waiting time was not too long. I would recommend Dr. Mantzoukas if you have any foot injuries or pain.

Was not happy upon my return visit. I was double booked, had to wait 40 minutes to be seen and the doctor did not remember to refer to me by my last name rather than my first (happen to be sensitive to this issue - realize that other patients might not care. And the doctor did seem rushed as he had the first time - with my previous podiatrist I never felt this way. Will most likely be looking for another podiatrist, especially since his location is not even convenient for me and he only is available 2 days a week.
Professionally however I do feel that he is very competent - so if the above issues are not ones that concern you, then by all means see him.

Was very pleased with my treatment. The only reason I checked less than 30 minutes for wait time rather than right away was because I was delayed due to subway problems so did not arrive at my scheduled time and therefore had to be fit into the remaining time slots.
