About Dr. Arif Hussain
Arif S Hussain, MD is an internist at Maniya Health in Hamilton, NJ. He has had a wide variety of clinical training at many teaching and suburban hospitals where he learned to truly take care of his patients. He joined Maniya Health after 10 years of extensive experience caring for chronic illnesses, including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, hypothyroidism and their acute exacerbations in his own practice in Robbinsville, New Jersey and at St. Francis Medical Center. Dr. Hussain loves caring for his patients and building relationships with them and their families.
Dr. Hussain completed residency in Internal Medicine at St Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ after graduating from the Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies. He was born in New York and raised in New Jersey, attending Rutgers University for undergraduate studies with a computer science degree. He pursued medicine to really help change people’s lives. Dr. Hussain likes to focus on treating and preventing complications from chronic diseases and is aggressive in his care to do so.
In his free time, Dr. Hussain enjoys spending time with his wife, 5 children and 5 pets. He also loves playing and coaching basketball and watching sports. He is an avid sports fan and is waiting for the day when his beloved Knicks win an NBA championship.

Dr. Hussain is phenomenal. I've seen plenty of doctors from nearly every discipline of medicine and somehow, of all of them (including the therapists), he made me feel the most listened to and understood. Great guy, wish more doctors (and especially psychiatrists) were more like him.

Great office, staff, and doctor.. They just need to stop overbooking the doctor so patients aren’t waiting a longtime and he can still give the attention that each patient requires.. Also the ZocDoc partnership needs the “kinks” to be worked out—I stayed up late night to complete all the forms presented by ZocDoc to show up to my appointment for them to tell me that I have complete all my forms again because they can’t access the docs I completed on ZocDocs?????? Like that should be a simple phone call to get that rectified??????? …. Other than the long wait and duplicating onboarding forms—the place is Awesome.. I believe they will get it right..

Awesome experience! Staff courteous & helpful. Very patient as I dug through my purse for the documents I needed to provide. Took care of some testing before my appointment with Dr, Hussain so he had information he needed when he met me.
Dr, Hussain thorough answering questions and explaining various needed tests. He also made sure he had information in his files that might be needed in future appointments,

Dr. Hussain was outstanding!
I have never felt more comfortable and at ease visiting the doctor before.
He was wonderfully attentive and offered very helpful treatment options and solutions.
I can honestly say that I am happily satisfied with the medical attention that I have received under Dr. Hussain’s care.
Additionally the rest of the medical assistants and nurses were exceptionally skilled and accommodating!
10/10 would come back again!
