Dr. Bandyopadhyay (also known to his patients as Dr. BANERJEE), is an experienced, board-certified Endocrinologist and Diabetes specialist.
A medical graduate (from 1982) and postgraduate from Medical College, Kolkata University, India, Dr. Bandyopadhyay, did further residency training in Internal Medicine from the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He did his Endocrinology fellowship training from State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo, NY and got his Board certification in Endocrinology and Diabetes in 1997.
He was an Asst. Clinical Professor at SUNY, Buffalo and later the Program Director of Endocrinology Program, SUNY Buffalo, before moving to Houston to start his own private practice.
He has re-certified from The American Board of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in 2006.
Dr. Bandyopadhyay is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE).

Dr. Bandyyopadhyay's front desk workers are the worst. They were rude in the way they talked to me. They switched my appointment without asking me, and when I called their office for directions, the lady could not figure out how to get me there. I will find another doctor. Hopefully the new doctor will care about the patient.
