I am Dr. Arin Bayote, a dual board-certified, doctorate-prepared Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland. I earned my Doctorate in Nursing from Grand Canyon University, my Master's in Nursing from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Post-Master's Certificate in Family Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from UMass Global. With over a decade of clinical experience across several settings, I have broadened my knowledge base and expertise. I specialize in treating children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma, mood and behavioral issues, in addition to providing medication management and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My approach involves a combination of empathy, active listening, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a holistic understanding of my patients' mental health needs. I prioritize building a trusting relationship with my patients, tailoring treatment plans to their individual needs, and collaborating with them to achieve their mental wellness goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My clients can expect to take away from my sessions a sense of validation, understanding, and support for their mental health concerns. They will gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as learn practical strategies and coping mechanisms to manage their symptoms effectively. Additionally, they are empowered to make positive changes in their lives to achieve an improved overall sense of well-being.
