The entire experience was probably the most pleasant I have had at a medical center. The staff was friendly and welcoming, everyone seemed very happy. The office decor was simple yet elegant. The temperature was comfortable, not frigid as many medical offices are. Armine quickly assessed my issue and explained everything clearly. She was very personable and put my mind at ease. I felt heard and not hurried. Excellent experience in every way possible.

I scheduled an appointment to see if the mole like bump could be removed from my bottom lip. The staff was friendly when I arrived at the office, this was my first time there. My appointment was with Armine Avakian APRN, ANP. She was friendly and very pleasant and let me know what type of procedure was involved if I wanted it removed and surprisingly it took her less than 5 minutes. She gave me instructions on how to care for the location on my lip and I was on my way. I am very pleased and would definitely go back to have skin tags removed.

Check-in process was simple and straightforward with a clean space and friendly staff. Armine was warm and welcoming, attentive to my needs, asked thoughtful questions, and was able to get to the bottom of my skin issues very quickly. I was in and out but not rushed. Would definitely recommend!

The office was very friendly, modern and very clean.
I was scheduled to see the nurse practitioner who was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
After I told her I was interested in a Moh’s procedure for squamous cell ca on my face she worked me in to see the doctor(who I was very impressed with) and they got me scheduled while I was there for the procedure.
Being a retired Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, I am not impressed easily but the doctor and his staff definitely exceeded my expectations.

My experience here has renewed my trust in Dermatologists! My previous experience at a DIFFERENT practice wasn’t the best, it was rushed and ended up paying more than my copay for a 2 min visit. Not here!
Here I was instantly greeted by the lovely young lady at the front desk who helped me fill out my paper work. Then immediately seen and had a thorough exam, they their time listening to my concerns and answering all of my questions. I felt heard and cared for here. I can’t wait to come back for my next visit.

The office was very nice and clean. Staff greeted me with a smile and handed me a tablet to complete my check in. This was done quickly since they sent me the form prior to my appointment and I was able to answer the majority of questions then.
An assistant brought me back and went over what I was concerned with and verified a few more medical questions. I was given a robe to change into and was told what would be happening in the appointment. The doctor came in shortly after- asked me again what my concerns were and then started the exam. She explained everything to me and asked if I had more questions or needed more explanation. I felt heard and will be sending my partner there to get an exam as well. I would recommend this office.

I saw the NP, Armine Avakian, and she made me feel so comfortable. She was super easy to talk to and professional. We discussed my skin issues and came up with a plan together. my visit to California Dermatology and Mohs surgery specialists was the absolute best. Armine did a full body skin exam. she is very thorough with her examination and got a full medical history throughout to see what I needed help with. I had a main concern of acne and she gave me a full regimen for my morning and nighttime skin care routine to help. I really enjoyed my visit with Armine and will definitely be back to see her for all my skin needs!
