“Everything was great about my initial visit with AJ and the office staff at Journal Sq. -- the only "hitch" was wait time, which AJ immediately apologized for, stating how very out-of-the-ordinary that was for their office. (I was chill about it because I'm on winter break, so I didn't mind and got caught up with news on their huge TV.) Granted, this WAS near the end of the day, super near the end of the year ('25), so I think everyone was trying to fit in their annual before 2026 rings in. Even so, AJ was attentive, not rushed with me at all (or hides it well), and took every opportunity to ask me the right questions, explain what should be understood / acted upon, and clearly cared to know all about my health history, as necessary. I love AJ's expertise, warmth, humor, and candidness; I also appreciate his holistic approach that is both thoughtful and sound. I look forward to meeting both doctors at this practice soon, too, but know I'm in excellent hands with AJ's thorough care.”

About Armyl Marquez
Armyl “AJ” Marquez is a well-regarded, trusted nurse practitioner serving his own community of Jersey City. He attended Seton Hall University where he received his graduate degree. He is board certified in Adult Health, HIV/AIDS, and Ambulatory Care. He manages care of patients including assessment, counseling, ordering tests and providing treatments. The front desk staff was super efficient and kind, the nurse practitioner who diminish check up was efficient and easy and then the care provider I booked the appointment with was really efficient and sensitive about the appointment. I think I will switch to him for my full-time GP

The Doctor was super friendly. It was my first annual in years and this office was a great first step into bringing that back into my routine. Labs went quickly and staff explained everything well.
