Dr. Platt earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM). He completed his psychiatric training at The Roosevelt Hospital in NYC. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. From 1980 to 1997, Dr. Platt served as Chief of Adult Psychiatry at United Hospitals Medical Center in Newark, NJ. He has also been the medical director of several partial hospital programs and outpatient mental health clinics.
