About Dr. Artin Nazarian

Dr. Nazarian was raised in Glendale and after high school attended University of Southern California and received a degree in Exercise physiology and minor in Biology. He then attended medical school at St. George’s University. Dr. Nazarian did 3rd year of medical school in New York and finished in California. For the first 9 years after his residency he had the pleasure of teaching Huntington Hospital Internal Medicine residents and USC medical and pharmacy students and has more than 12 years of experience in hospitalized patient care. Dr. Nazarian’s stance is that each patient is individual, unique, and special and should be treated in that same way.

Dr. Nazarian is an exceptional physician—caring, attentive, and genuinely respectful of my wellbeing. Despite living far away, I’ve chosen to keep him as my primary care provider because of how consistently excellent he has been during our telehealth visits. I would not recommend booking with this office. They are focused almost entirely on trying to get money out of you. Fees will appear out of nowhere and when I pushed back on them I was condescended to. When I actually got face time with the doctor it was extremely brief and I was allowed only limited time to ask questions. They pressured me into making follow up appointments where I never spoke to a doctor. Please save your time and money and do not go here. I wish I had done more research.

I’m very reluctant when it comes to doctor visits but this was a great first visit as a new patient. As someone who’s in the CrossFit space, there was nothing more reassuring than hearing Dr. Nazarians first question being, “What’s your max clean and jerk?”. Seriously though, he was very straightforward and only prescribed what was strictly necessary, nothing more.

Dr. Nazarian listened to my complaints about the longevity of my cough. He examined my lungs and prescribed medications. I was glad I consulted him. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care doctor.

In my search for a new PCP, I decided to give Dr. Nazarian a try after reading all of the positive reviews on this site. I was able to get an appointment right away. The office staff is friendly and accommodating, parking is easy and the office itself is very nice. I took the time to fill out all of my paperwork in advance, including all of my medical history, medications, etc. For whatever reason the doctor could only see one medication, for which he immediately launched into his take on the risks of using it. His attitude is very much that what he knows and says is best. Doesn’t really ask questions and I didn’t feel like he cared about me as a patient. A week later he called to give me my test results. We spoke for 3 minutes. I was billed for this 3 minute call and had to pay another co-pay. I called to ask why and the office told me that anytime he calls to give results he has to bill the insurance for it. He HAS to bill. Really? Will not be returning to see this doctor.

Undisclosed cost to fill a form out. Dr was they’re not there for the first visit so they had to reschedule it four days later and then when I finally met the doctor, he refused to fill out a medical examination paperwork for the DMV stating it would be a liability for him even though there’s no reason to suggest that that would be an issue.

Dr Nazarian is fantastic! Saw him for a physical after moving back to the area and he spent a ton of time with me going through my health history, getting to know me, and offered to help with another set of eyes on a chronic issue. Dr. Nazarian emphasizes physical fitness and exercise, which is a welcome approach to me as a former competitive athlete. The office staff was great as well - very friendly, efficient, and almost no wait. Highly recommend Dr. Nazarian and team.

If you need your meds, and have to have them… he is gone try and talk you outta of the stuff you need. If you see all my mediines in my file, give me my meds, don't try and tell me what I shouldn’t be doing! You can't treat ppl like they ailments and pains don't matter. Go to a doctor that will give you your prescribed meds.
